have you ever realized how many times in a day you hear the phrase lol? i mean it's become a word instead of an acronym. it's also a placeholder in a dead instant messaging convo. people say lol when they don't know what to say to a person. i know that's the way i use it. if someone says something and i have no idea what to say back but want the person to know i am still there i will just quickly type lol instead of finding something logical to type back. so anyway that's my opinion on life in the world of online chatting =D
